Create, edit, validate, share, and manage CAD drawings – you can perform all these tasks with nanoCAD Plus, a professional-grade CAD tool offered by Nanosoft to users around the world. It is just as good (if not better) than the well-known AutoCAD. If you want to check out the differences between the two, Nanosoft was kind enough to create a comparison chart.

The system requirements for running nanoCAD Plus are: Intel Pentium 4 or AMD Athlon processor, at least 512MB of RAM (2GB recommended), about 300MB of free disk space (1 to 3GB required for working), 1024x768 screen resolution (1280x1024 recommended), video adapter with OpenGL/DirecX-comatible hardware 3d acceleration, Windows operating system (any edition from Windows XP up to Windows 8).

The interface is just what you would expect from an application of this type: the drawing you’re working on is presented front and center, buttons and links to various editing functions and drawing features are presented all around. It will take very, very little time to figure this interface out.

From this user friendly interface you can easily access powerful drafting and design tools. You can use the interface to, as previously mentioned, create, edit, validate, share, and manage CAD drawings. nanoCAD Plus provides easy access to lots of tools, tools that will meet all your CAD-related needs.

Nanosoft has two nanoCAD versions to offer: nanoCAD, which is totally free to use and share, and nanoCAD Plus, which is not free, but comes with more productivity features and priority online support. You can use nanoCAD Plus in Demo Mode, but please note that some features are not available. You can also request a license and use nanoCAD Plus for free for an evaluation period of 30 days.

nanoCAD is a properly good CAD tool. nanoCAD Plus is an even better CAD tool!

Pros

Modern PCs will easily meet the system requirements for running nanoCAD Plus. A setup wizard will help you install nanoCAD Plus on your PC. You will quickly figure out the interface. There are a couple of samples that you can load and play with. Easily access powerful drafting and design tools. nanoCAD Plus has more productivity features than the free nanoCAD.

Cons

Trial limitations: 30-day evaluation, nag screen.
